All the cello pieces are Grotesque and finally this Scherzo is also Grotesque! What is this!”… I have a great deal of respect and love for him, as he’s a very good person and musician. For this reason I am rather upset about his attitude to the cello pieces and the symphony scherzo. But he gets on with me superbly well. Admittedly, he’s in a bit of a huff with me because I haven’t done anything for more than six months.
